Legal Action

We Do Not Use Motor Boats

As a Civil Association, we maintain active lawsuits to prohibit the use of gasoline motors in the canals and chinampa zones of Xochimilco. Motor use pollutes the water, destroys axolotl habitat, and damages the wetland ecosystem.
